Who we are
The Cabentra AI Design Studio at designer.cabentra.uk is run by Cabentra, a trading name of Riverbank Construction Ltd, registered in Scotland no. SC540574, 12 Spruce Court, Motherwell, ML1 1QD. We are the controller of the personal information described here. This notice covers the AI Design Studio only and sits alongside our main privacy policy, which covers the shop.
What the AI Design Studio does
You upload a photograph of a treatment room, choose a cabinetry range and a finish, and the studio produces an AI-generated concept image of that room with Cabentra cabinetry. Each image is watermarked as a concept. It is an illustration to start a conversation, not a drawing, a survey or a quotation.
What we collect
Three kinds of information, and nothing we do not need.
You give us
Your details
First and last name, practice name, email address, telephone number, postcode and any project notes you add. We also record whether you ticked the box for Cabentra news, and the time you acknowledged this notice.
You upload
Your photograph
The room photograph you upload and the concept images made from it. Please use a photograph with no people, patient information, paperwork or readable screens. Photographs that show them are rejected automatically.
Created automatically
Technical records
A random session reference held in your browser, the range and finish you chose, and whether each step succeeded. To stop misuse we count requests using a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address and email. The raw IP address is not stored, and these counters are deleted after 48 hours.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To create your concept images and show them to you. This is the service you asked for (steps taken at your request, and our legitimate interests in providing it).
- To reply when you ask for a quotation and to discuss your project (steps taken at your request before a contract).
- To keep the service safe and fair: screening uploads, limiting each email address to three complimentary designs, a daily limit per connection and a check that you are not a bot (legitimate interests).
- To send Cabentra news, only if you ticked that box (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
How the AI part works
Your photograph is sent to OpenAI, whose models we use for three things: an automated safety check, a check that the picture shows a suitable room with no people or sensitive information, and creating the concept image. Your name, email address and other contact details are not sent to OpenAI. We use OpenAI's business API, under which OpenAI states that it does not use the content to train its models and may hold it for a short period to monitor for abuse.
No decision with legal or similarly significant effect is made about you automatically. If a photograph is rejected you can simply try another, or contact us.
Who handles it for us
Our suppliers, and only for these purposes.
AI processing
OpenAI
Receives the photograph to screen it and to generate the concept image. Based in the United States.
Database and image storage
Supabase
Holds your details and images on servers in the European Union (Ireland). Images sit in private storage and are shown to you only through short-lived links.
Klaviyo
Sends your quotation confirmation, alerts our team to your enquiry and, only if you opted in, adds you to our mailing list. Based in the United States.
Hosting and security
AWS, WeWeb, Cloudflare and Google Fonts
AWS and WeWeb deliver the studio to your browser. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a request comes from a person and not a bot. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these suppliers process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the European Union and the United States. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on the supplier's contractual safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Short by design, and deleted automatically.
No quotation requested
7 days
If you create designs but do not ask for a quotation, your details, your photograph and your concept images are deleted 7 days after the session began.
Quotation requested: images
7 days
Your photograph and concept images are deleted 7 days after you ask for a quotation. After that, a saved link shows a placeholder.
Quotation requested: details
Up to 6 months
Your contact details and enquiry are kept for up to 6 months so we can follow up, then deleted. If you become a customer, your order records are kept as our main privacy policy describes.
Cookies and similar storage
The AI Design Studio does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It keeps a session reference in your browser so your designs stay with you while you work, and Cloudflare Turnstile may set a security cookie when it checks the request.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email hello@cabentra.uk or call 0800 772 3913. If you are unhappy with our reply you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when the studio or our suppliers change. Last updated September 2026.
