Ordering and prices
Before you order.
Are your prices with or without VAT?
Prices are shown including VAT by default, with the ex-VAT figure alongside where it helps. Approved trade accounts see ex-VAT as the headline price. VAT is charged either way and shown separately at checkout.
Is every finish the same price?
Yes. White, light grey, cashmere and dark grey are all the same price for the same unit.
Can I order a whole room rather than single units?
Yes. Add what you need to your specification and either check out or send the whole specification to us for a quote. For larger projects, a quote is usually the better route.
How do I pay?
By card at checkout. For quoted projects we confirm payment terms with the quotation.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Tell us as quickly as you can. Cabinets are made to order, so once manufacture has started a business order cannot be cancelled. Consumers have 14 days from delivery to change their mind on standard items. See guarantee and returns.
Delivery
Getting it to you.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Typical dispatch is 7 to 10 days from the order being confirmed. If you are working to a deadline, tell us when you order and we will say honestly whether we can meet it.
Do you deliver into the room, or kerbside?
Cabinets on a pallet are delivered kerbside: the carrier will not take goods inside the building, so please have people available to receive and move them. X-ray doors can be booked as a two-person delivery into the room.
How much is delivery?
It is calculated at checkout from the size of the order and your postcode, and shown before you pay.
What should I do if something arrives damaged?
Note it on the driver's paperwork, and email us the same day if you can, with photographs and your order number. We will repair or replace it.
Assembly and installation
Putting it in.
Do the cabinets come assembled?
No. They ship flat-packed with their fixings and an assembly guide. A competent joiner or shopfitter can assemble and fit them.
Can you fit them for us?
Yes. Installation by our own team is quoted per job. Out-of-hours fitting can be arranged where a practice is working. Ask when you order or send an enquiry.
Do you supply fixings for wall units?
Cabinet fixings are included. Fixings into the wall itself are not, because walls differ. Use fixings suited to your wall type and a competent fitter.
Guarantee and returns
If something is not right.
What guarantee comes with your cabinets?
Twelve months on carcasses, workmanship and moving parts, from the date of delivery.
Can I return something?
Consumers can return standard items within 14 days of delivery. Business orders are made to order and cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty or damaged goods are always put right, whoever you are.
Products
What it is and what it meets.
Do your cabinets meet HTM 01-05?
Yes. Our cabinetry and worktops are built for HTM 01-05 decontamination environments, with sealed edges and surfaces that take daily clinical cleaning.
What sizes do the units come in?
Most units are on a 500 mm module, with a 300 mm PC unit and a 1000 mm double wall unit. Wall units come in 575 mm and 720 mm heights. Each product page gives its width.
Can you make a size you do not list?
Usually. Send us the dimensions and we will quote.
Can I see the finishes before I order?
Yes. Ask us for samples and see them in your own light. Screen colours are only a guide.
X-ray doors
Lead-lined doors.
How much lead do we actually need?
Your Radiation Protection Adviser decides that, not us. Under IRR17 the shielding for a new or modified installation is assessed in advance, and we build to what that assessment specifies.
Do all intraoral rooms need a leaded door?
No, and a great many do not. Distance and the existing construction often do the work. We would rather say so than sell you a door you do not need.
What is the difference between Code 3, 4 and 5?
Lead thickness. Code 3 is 1.32 mm, Code 4 is 1.80 mm and Code 5 is 2.24 mm. Code 3 is the usual dental specification; Code 4 and 5 appear on CBCT suites.
How heavy is a leaded door?
A Code 3 838 mm leaf is around 55 kg, which is why the hinges and frame are specified for the weight.
Trade accounts
Buying for a business.
Who can have a trade account?
Trade accounts are for designers, fit-out contractors and dealers who specify and buy for their clients. Practices buying for themselves do not need one: every price is published on the site.
How do I apply?
Complete the trade application. We verify the business and email you when trade pricing is switched on.
